Guggenheim Gala 2023
In November 2023, the Guggenheim Museum’s annual International Gala welcomed 300 guests, celebrating the museum’s achievements while raising funds for its exhibitions and programs. Guests explored the exhibition "Going Dark: The Contemporary Figure at the Edge of Visibility," before enjoying a three-course dinner on the rotunda floor, transformed into an elegant and vibrant dining space.
The event design reflected the exhibition’s theme of partially obscured and hidden figures, with stunning light projections on the museum ramps. The tablescape featured a deep blue tablecloth adorned with moss and soft pink flowers, creating a striking contrast. Flickering flame candles, discreetly placed within the moss base, cast a warm glow over the arrangement. The statement flower, King Protea—a South African bloom symbolising strength, resilience, and diversity—tied the design to the exhibition’s profound themes.
